Payment Options
At Torrensville Dental Care we believe in making dentistry affordable as possible which is why we have partnered with NIB and Dentacare. We also treat patients with SA Dental public forms, Department of Veteran Affairs Schemes, as well as bulk billing for the Child Dental Benefit Scheme through Medicare (subject to eligibility)
Torrensville Dental Care fees are set at a level that allow them to provide high quality dentistry while trying to keep dentistry as affordable as possible for our patients.
Payment is expected on the day and we have HICAPS for on the spot health fund claiming and EFTPOS facilities available. We also accept cash and have payment plan options.
Afterpay
We offer Afterpay! You can enjoy your smile now but pay for it later with four equal fortnightly payments. You can spread out the cost of your treatment with no added interest, and no additional fees. Ask our friendly team for more details.
HUMM/National Dental Plan
Health Funds
We participate with NIB health fund and its affiliates. With HICAPS on-site, we can claim your rebate for any health fund on the spot. You can also use SADS vouchers under General Dental Schemes (GDS) and Emergency Dental Schemes (EDS), which should be presented when you arrive. We accept Dentacare patients as well.
Any charges outside of what your health fund covers will be your responsibility. Your benefits depend upon your policy’s level of cover, annual maximum, waiting period and fund rules.
Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)
If you have a child between 2 and 17 years of age and receive Family Tax Benefit Part A, your child may be eligible to receive dental care under the CDBS. This is a new Medicare scheme which provides up to $1052 of dental treatment over two years.
The CDBS replaces the Teen Dental Scheme and expands on the types of treatment that can be provided to patients by private dentists.
For eligible patients, we bulk bill our services so that you should have no out of pocket expenses for treatment covered by the scheme.

Dept of Veterans Affairs (DVA)
Torrensville Dental Care is registered to provide dental care to eligible DVA card holders. For information on how to access dental services under this scheme please click here.
South Australian Dental Service (SADS)
SADS patients may be offered the opportunity to receive care from a private dentist. Patients must be referred by their Community Dental Service clinic.
Torrensville Dental Care participates in the provision of dental care to SADS eligible patients through the following schemes:
- General Dental Scheme (GDS)
- Emergency Dental Scheme (EDS)
